My Journey Through Life and Fortune

During my life, certainly in my younger years I spent travelling and with that, meeting some very interesting people and for my part got involved in some interesting adventures.

At 18 I left my home in England with a good friend to seek our fortune in France. We didn’t find our fortune, except I gained valuable life experience and loved every minute of my time there.

Back in the UK at 19, I found myself in the North Sea on a group of Mounsel Forts in the Thames Estuary. I became one of the first Pirate Radio DJs, at a point in history when pop music was emerging as a vital force for young people all over the world!

As I matured, I was able to work for company who asked me to visit businesses in Lisbon and Barcelona and even worked in Belfast during the troubles in the late seventies, where I stayed in a hotel that in it’s history, had been bombed 49 times!

My philosophy in life has always been that if you can do good deeds to others it will spread and change many lives, sometimes without them being aware of it.

In my life I have been given little things like talisman, in which I have often carried in my pocket. For example, I picked up a piece of flint on the pathway in a remote area of the New forest around a lake. Looking closely at it I could see that it had been carefully chipped on one side!

I found out that was in fact a stone-age tool used for cleaning animal skins, maybe 3000 years old!

These things had a great personal value to me at the time, and this had eventually formed the basis of my writing. I feel that we all have mystical influences in our lives, ones that can only be seen when we look back in our lives as we get older.

Sine 2019 I have been living in the ancient city of Carcassonne in the South of France. Next to the town is a 12th Century Fortress which is a world heritage site. I spend a great deal of time there enjoying the amazing atmosphere that surrounds this incredible ediface.
